In "Highlander" all the characters are beautiful, except for the asshole Dunny, but since almost all the women abandoned him, they barely recognized him little closer, the very fact of Dunny's existence can be endured. What's really gross about the show is the idea that the best woman is a woman with a broken psyche, a victim. The only heroine of the series who didn't abandon Dunny, was just such, she needed a psychologist's help, however, Tessa didn't go anywhere, endured suffering and died. But the authors, in addition to this, showed that without Dunny she was good for nothing and was doomed to misfortune. Another confirmation that being a good girl means getting a bad life and an untimely death.

A little more about "Highlander".
I used to want fanfic about how Amanda or Methos or someone else took Tessa away from Dunny. Now I want fanfic about how Tessa killed Dunny in the most painful way, and she didn't go to jail for it. On the contrary, Tessa received his inheritance and lives richly and happily, she has children, a successful career, a good partner and a long life with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
